Running around St Augustine with JJ & Casey was the perfect way to spend their engagement session. JJ told me they wanted to dress up a bit more and have a more classic city vibe to these photos since they had already taken photos at the beach.
When I arrived to meet them, I found them enjoying a beer at Ancient City Brewing and immediately knew these were my kind of people. Just hanging out before their session and enjoying their evening, which is exactly what I aim for with my couples!
We chatted while they finished their drinks, and then the fun began!
We decided to start in the square surrounded by beautiful trees before soaking in the Spanish Renaissance architecture of The Lightner Museum and Flagler College.
We ended their session on one of St Augustine’s many brick roads and made sure to enjoy the unique coquina walls that you can find throughout the nation’s oldest city.
If you want romantic city vibes but not in the tall skyscrapers and parking garage kind of way, then St Augustine is the perfect backdrop. Not to mention, there are tons of restaurants, breweries, and dessert shops to explore to extend your engagement session into a date night!
